At CARTIER, we don’t volunteer for appearances. We do it because it reflects who we are. Because we truly believe that every little gesture, every hour given, every smile shared matters.
Up to 600 Hours of Heartfelt Giving Each Year
At CARTIER, we like to say that a sustainable world is one where people are at the heart of everything. And that belief is put into action in very tangible ways.
That’s why each member of our team is entitled to one paid day of volunteering per year — a simple yet powerful way to pay it forward. Collectively, this can amount to up to 600 hours of volunteer work annually.
These hours are powered by heart… and by a committee that keeps that heart beating with consistency and creativity: Le Phil, our philanthropic committee. Made up of colleagues from all backgrounds, they come up with ideas, plan initiatives, and mobilize the team with great energy. Thanks to them, every season becomes an opportunity to make a real difference.
Here are a few highlights from what we experienced together over the past year.

As the weather cools, so should our wardrobes. In August, our volunteers headed to the Saint-Césaire Volunteer Action Centre (CAB) thrift store to lend a helping hand. Their mission?
- Bag up all the summer clothing to make way for the fall-winter collection
A small gesture that made a big difference for the volunteers onsite… and for the families who rely on the thrift store. The team’s hearts were full as they left!

During the open house at the Saint-Césaire Youth Center, our team transformed themselves into a BBQ crew. The goal: create a warm, welcoming vibe where youth could connect with outreach of social workers… on a full stomach!
- BBQ cooking equipment provided by CARTIER
- All of the food generously donated by a local grocer
Smiles were everywhere — from teens to adults. While the sausages sizzled, meaningful conversations were shared.

Fall winds down, winter approaches… and the holiday spirit shows up in our volunteering efforts. In November, we participated in two CAB initiatives:
- Operation Santa Claus: buying and distributing gifts for over 70 local children
- Meal Drive: 100 lovingly prepared meals for holiday food baskets
Considering we’re just over 80 employees, the generosity speaks volumes. These activities are always emotionally rich, meaningful moments. And every year, we look forward to doing it again.

Spring means renewal… even for clothes! For the second seasonal changeover at the CAB thrift store, we returned with new tasks:
- Another wave of bagging for the fall-winter collection
- Space refresh: cleaning, painting, organizing
A little elbow grease, some brush strokes, and lots of laughter gave the place a well-deserved facelift, a true refresh for a vital community space.

We couldn’t forget this fundraiser day with the Saint-Césaire Scouts. Even if the weather wasn’t on our side, our team spirit shone bright.
- Sorting refundable bottles to raise funds
- Lending a trailer for storage and transport
- BBQ equipment provided by CARTIER
- Food generously donated by a local grocer
The result: a lively, impactful day that made a real difference for the youth and left us with great memories.

At CARTIER, we don’t volunteer for appearances. We do it because it reflects who we are. Because we truly believe that every little gesture, every hour given, every smile shared matters. Whether we’re bagging clothes or lighting up a children’s eyes, we show up.
Because a truly sustainable world is one where people are connected.

Our VP of Sales, Nicolas, is part of the 27th cohort of the École d’Entrepreneurship de Beauce’s Elite Program. Each year, each new cohort selects a cause to support and this time, it’s the Centre jeunesse de la Montérégie that was chosen.
Their goal? Build an entirely new outdoor courtyard for the children living there. A heartfelt project requiring a $400,000 investment and the team of entrepreneurs Nicolas is part of aims to raise $200,000 of that on their own!
These children deserve a safe and stimulating space to play, grow, and just be kids. At CARTIER, we believe it’s essential to support colleagues who step up to make a real impact in our communities.
Want to help Nicolas and his cohort get there? Every donation helps bring them closer to their goal or even better, surpass it!
